Greenbrier Golf and Country Club is the premiere private club in the region, offering members the finest in services and amenities -- casual dining, a comfortable clubhouse, swimming, family oriented activies, plus a 19-acre lake for fishing.

Throughout the year, Greenbrier plans a full calendar of social and golf activities for all ages. Facilities may be reserved for private business or social receptions and dinner parties with a member sponsor. A fully equipped golf shop serves the golfer and that special gift buyer. Golf practice facilities include a practice range, putting green and shortgame area.  A clubhouse remodeling in 2007 further secures Greenbrier's place as Lexington's finest Golf and Country Club.

In conjunction with the celebration of our 40th anniversary in 2011 we are moving forward with plans to renovate our entire pool complex prior to opening next season! Work will begin as soon as the pool closes for the season in September.

As most of our members would agree the swimming pool has become the center of summer activities and a tremendous draw for our Club in the community. Renovating our forty year old pool facility will further solidify Greenbrier Golf & Country Club as Lexington’s most family friendly Club. We know this project will also provide a sense of pride amongst our membership.
 
Research and planning for this renovation have been underway since late summer of 2008, and now thanks to an improving economy and steady membership sales we have decided to move forward with the project and share some details with our membership. In addition to a brand new, heated pool the $800,000 renovation will add much needed square footage to our pool deck, rebuild and update our pump stations and double the size of our toddler pool area. Most importantly - as with all capital improvement projects at Greenbrier - it will be completed with no assessments to our membership!
